PRIVACY AND COOKIE POLICY

This Privacy Policy applies to Buntu Ventures Ltd., our partnering websites and which are owned and operated by Buntu Ventures Ltd. (the “Site(s)”). This Privacy Policy describes how Buntu Ventures Ltd. (“we” or “us”) collects, uses, shares and secures the personal information you provide in relation to the Sites only and does not represent all privacy practices conducted by us in our other businesses. It describes your choices regarding use, access and correction of your personal information. The use of information collected through the Sites shall be limited to the purposes of: (i) providing the service for which a client of Buntu Ventures Ltd. (“Client”) has engaged Buntu Ventures Ltd.; (ii) providing a service to you and other Users of the Sites (“Users”); and/or (iii) the purpose for which you signed up to receive communications from us. If you do not want your personal information to be used as set forth in this Privacy Policy, please do not use these Sites.

Buntu Ventures Ltd. (including the Sites as listed above) complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States. Buntu Ventures Ltd. has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. Buntu Ventures Ltd. is responsible for the processing of personal information it receives, under each Privacy Shield Framework, and subsequent transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. Buntu Ventures Ltd. complies with the Privacy Shield Principles for all onward transfers of personal information from the EU and Switzerland, including the onward transfer liability provisions. As Buntu Ventures Ltd. is a US headquartered business, our Sites based in the USA will process your personal information. Sites powered by GoDaddy Engine will also receive technical support. Buntu Ventures Ltd. maintains a data processing report under applicable law which sets out the location where your personal information may be processed, which is available on request where appropriate.

With respect to personal information received or transferred pursuant to the Privacy Shield Frameworks, Buntu Ventures Ltd. is subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. 1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

PERSONAL INFORMATION: The type of information we collect from you depends on how you use our Sites. Generally, when using our Sites, we may collect personal information in two ways: (i) you provide it to us, or (ii) it is collected automatically. You may provide personal information to us, such as your first and last name, contact information, email address, image, Username, physical address, and contents of your communication. You may also provide payment information to our third party payment processors. To allow you to access and register for our services more easily (e.g in the setting up of personal profile accounts through third-party businesses you are already signed up to, such as Facebook or Google).

We only collect the minimum amount of Personal Information about you that we consider necessary for achieving the aforementioned purposes.

If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, or if other Users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on the Site, we may collect such information into a file specific to you.

If you submit any Personal Information to us in response to a job posting (e.g. your resume), this may be shared with third parties (including external tools and services we use to manage our talent pool), depending on the nature of your inquiry. In general, Buntu Ventures Ltd. will gather some technical information automatically. But the same pieces of information are considered Non-Identifying Information when they are taken alone or combined only with other Non-Identifying Information (for example, your country and gender). 2. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

OTHER CORPORATE ENTITIES: We may share your information, including your Personal Information, Non-Identifying Information and Log Data, with our affiliates, subsidiaries, and branch offices in the United States and internationally, and with third parties who provide services on our behalf to help with our business activities such as providing email distribution services, customer service, or technical support. These companies are authorized to use your Personal Information only as necessary to provide these services to us. To the extent that these entities have access to your information, they will treat it at least as protectively as they treat information they obtain from their other Users. These entities follow privacy practices no less protective of our Users than our practices described in this Privacy Policy, to the extent allowed by applicable law. ADVERTISING ON AND USE OF DATA WITH THIRD PARTY PLATFORMS: We may share data collected on the Sites, including email addresses, to show you and others personalized advertisements on third party websites and online services such as Facebook, Google, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Adobe and Linkedin and other Social Media providers. In order to facilitate this, we may share data collected on the Sites with third parties who will help us identify user profiles to target in our advertising campaigns, and analyze and maximize the effectiveness of the Site and our advertising and marketing outreach initiatives. This works because third party providers have aggregated information based on trends and behaviors of its users linked to information they hold about users like yourself, such as an email address. Some of these advertisements may be for Buntu Ventures Ltd. services or Buntu Ventures Ltd. Partners and Customers.

You may be able to opt out of receiving personalized advertisements from online services such as Facebook. You have the option to register for and access some of our services using third party social media sites such as Google or Facebook, when we ask you to “Sign up through Facebook” or “Continue with Facebook”. These are sites which you have chosen to share your information with independently of Buntu Ventures Ltd. in accordance with their terms and conditions. When you choose to register with our Sites using services such as Facebook, Buntu Ventures Ltd. will obtain information such as your email address and in some cases, profile picture information, automatically through your social media provider which provides this information to us.

LEGAL REQUESTS: Buntu Ventures Ltd. cooperates with law enforcement inquiries, as well as other third-parties to enforce laws and intellectual property rights. Therefore, in response to a verified request by law enforcement, an applicable regulator, or other government officials relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity, we can disclose your name, city, state, telephone number, and email address. We DO NOT sell/transfer/give information about your use of Facebook to third parties unless authorized in this Agreement. We use reasonable safeguards and protections to protect your data. We may have servers located in different jurisdictions so you are consenting to the transfer of this information from your residence to our servers. We do not allow users under 13 to use our Application or Fan Page and will delete anyone we suspect is under age. We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. If we do, we will post a notice on here of the changes and when this Policy was last updated.

3. STORAGE AND TRANSFER OF YOUR INFORMATION

Depending on the Buntu Ventures Ltd. Site you are using, or where you contact us, your information is stored on the servers of our service providers, including Rackspace, Amazon Web Services, Shopify, GoDaddy, and Heroku. Please note that information we collect from you may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which we or our service providers maintain facilities. We or our service providers may transfer information that we collect about you, including Personal Information across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. We encourage you to review Heroku, Amazon Web Services, Hype, Shopify, GoDaddy and Rackspace’s terms of service agreements and privacy policies before providing information to them.

We use reasonable physical, procedural, technical and administrative security measures to protect your Personal Information against loss or theft as well as unauthorized access and disclosure to protect your privacy. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Equally, if you contact the support site of the product you are using with one of these requests, they will let Buntu Ventures Ltd.’s privacy team know. If you were invited to one of our Buntu Ventures Ltd. platforms directly by an Buntu Ventures Ltd. Client and would no longer like to be contacted by our Client that uses our service, please contact the Client that you interact with directly. Likewise, if you were invited to one of our Buntu Ventures Ltd. platforms by an Buntu Ventures Ltd. Client and you would like to access, or seek to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data, you should direct your query to the Client (the data controller) in the first instance, unless the data relates to information Buntu Ventures Ltd. holds in its capacity as a Site owner (and therefore a data processor). This will not affect your legal rights. If requested to remove data we will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law. Buntu Ventures Ltd. will retain this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
